Free bund compliance survey in line with Oil Storage Regulations 2001
Ensure compliance to the Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) (England) Regulations 2001
You will be aware that it is the responsibility of your company and the person concerned with environmenal protection to make sure that your secondary containment systems (bunds) comply with all relevant legislation. If you are concerned that your bunds are inadequate or that you are not meeting all regulations Darcy will provide advice and guidance to assist you.
As part of our free bund compliance survey we will:

confirm that your bunds are fit for purpose
- check your bund will cope with either an oil spill or a complete tank failure
- confirm that the bund base and walls are both impermeable to water and oil
- ensure that your bund is built to the correct standards and assess that containment capacity meets regulations
- inspect impermeability has a coefficient measure of not less than 10-9 m/s
- recommend any remediation works required if the standards or regulations are not met.
