Standard Bund Water Control Unit
The standard bund water control unit is supplied complete with a control unit and a combined pump/probe assembly with integral steel mounting stand. The control unit monitors the probe unit in the sump which detects the difference between oil and water and safely pumps only water* into the surface water drainage system. This occurs automatically when the water level reaches the ‘start’ probe level and continues to pump until the water level lowers to the ‘stop’ probe, therefore emptying the bund of water and leaving any pollutant behind.
The current status is displayed via a liquid crystal display which can be customised to display your messages. The bund control unit is optionally available with a GSM board fitted to allow remote notification via mobile phone text messaging. * rainwater containing less than 5mg of oil per litre of water (5 parts per million)
